Mountain Trail Run Set for July 5 at Jackson Lake
The July edition of our Mountain Trail Run series is scheduled for Friday, July 5. The run will begin at Jackson Lake, following mostly shaded fire roads up to Angeles Crest Highway and back.
The route is just under 11 miles round trip. Since it's an out-and-back course, runners are welcome to turn around at any point and run a distance that suits them. [Here is the Strava route.]
A Big Pines parking pass is required at Jackson Lake in the Angeles National Forest. The pass, managed by Mountain High Resort, costs $10 for daily use and is also available as an annual pass. It replaces the Adventure Pass for day-use areas and trailheads, including Jackson Lake.
