About the Event
This is a unique, exciting, fun race! There will be a WAVE start. Runners of different ages and genders are assigned different start times so that, in theory, everyone has an equal chance of being the first to cross the finish line. There are NO AGE Group awards, but the top 50 finishers, the top 50 to cross the finish line will earn awards.

This event is a fundraiser for the West Antelope Valley Education Foundation - WAVE. They provide funding for extracurricular opportunities such as field trips, clubs, sports, etc for the students of the Westside Union School District.
