The Pacific Crest Trail
You are invited to help maintain the Pacific Crest Trail, the jewel of the High Sierra Mountain chain! On Saturday, November 15, 2008 between 8 AM and Noon, members of the High Desert Runners will be joined by numerous other individuals and hike along the Pacific Crest Trail and clear a small section, fulfilling an agreement between HDR and the National Forest Service. Located 20 minutes away, near picturesque Bouquet Canyon Reservoir, the trail winds through jaw-dropping scenery where every step is an adventure!
